Stanley travels to New Mexico for his father’s funeral, expecting to receive an inheritance. When all he inherits is junk, however, he turns in desperation to his mother for help.
Old Standards
Christmas Day, 1969. Abby returns to her family home for Christmas dinner without her husband, Stanley. Her parents question his absence and she reveals that she’s left him. Stanley shows up uninvited, however, and tries to win her back.
Conversation After a Film
Ian and Craig are old friends who have been meeting for years to watch films together and discuss them afterwards. On one particular evening, Ian reveals his intentions to completely alter his life, which Craig sees as part of a self-destructive pattern.

A variation on The Seagull by Anton Chekhov, set in modern-day southern California. Maria is in love with Conrad. Simon is in love with Maria. One night, Simon and Maria spend the night together, altering the course of their lives. But will Maria ever be able to let go of her obsession?
